James Albert Schemmer’s career took flight with the creation of Schemmer Engineering, a firm that became known for its excellence and commitment to quality. After successfully growing the business, James eventually sold Schemmer Engineering but remained driven by his passion for engineering. That drive led him to establish Schemmer Consulting Group PLLC, where he continued to apply his extensive knowledge and expertise to new projects.

James Albert Schemmer was more than just an engineer; he was a devoted family man who treasured his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. His deep love for his family was central to his life, and he took great pride in watching his son, Jim Thomas Schemmer (J.T.), follow in his footsteps. In his later years, James passed the torch to J.T., confident that his son would carry forward the values and principles that defined the company.

James Albert Schemmer passed away in 2016, leaving a profound legacy of excellence, dedication, and integrity. His belief that engineering should not only meet technical standards but also improve communities continues to guide our work. Though he is no longer with us, his influence remains at the heart of Schemmer Consulting Group PLLC.

Today, Jim Thomas Schemmer (J.T.) leads Schemmer Consulting Group PLLC with the same dedication and commitment to quality that his father instilled. Under J.T.'s leadership, we continue to uphold the high standards set by James Albert Schemmer, delivering innovative, reliable engineering solutions that serve our clients and improve our community.
